In the Judge Realty office, most interactions with Director of Property Maintenance Seb Edwards last fewer than six seconds, include a hurried walk-and-talk, and undoubtedly end with a smile from one of the busiest men in Savannah. Responsible for over 200 residential properties plus several commercial accounts, leaves Seb with little free time for small talk during a typical workday. Originally from Swansea, Wales, Seb migrated to Southern California before landing in Savannah 26 years ago. An accomplished musician, Seb enjoys what little free time he has playing bass guitar with local bands. Father to two young boys, Seb and his wife Sheila, a Savannah College of Art and Design professor, spend quality time enjoying outdoor activities and Savannah’s many family-friendly festivals. While Seb’s earlier days of attending Grateful Dead concerts (he has logged an impressive 100) may have ended, you can now spot him at the Savannah Skate Park shredding with his sons.

Originally an Orlando, Florida native, Jan moved to Tybee Island in 2013 where she fell in love with the Savannah charm and low-country lifestyle.

A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Jan earned a BS degree in Psychology with a Minor in Crime, Law and Deviance, and a Certification in Behavioral Forensics.  Go Knights!

She was introduced to the real estate industry as an Assistant to a local Land Developer, gaining valuable experience in sales, contract negotiation, property management in a wide variety of real estate transactions located throughout Savannah and the surrounding areas.

Jan and her fiancé enjoy living in Savannah’s Victorian District.  She has an eye for urban chic, bohemian, and vintage with modern touches.

In Jan’s free time, you can find her at a hot yoga class at the HUB, a local art gallery, laying in the sun on Tybee Island, listening to live music, or just sipping wine on the porch.  Favorite places to dine are Bull Street Taco, Crystal Beer Parlor, and Cha Bella.

The visually appealing Teahouse interior features a repurposed skylight which sheds abundant light on wellness products, specialty teas, and the star of the show Yaupon Kombucha on tap. Grab an iced drink to go or take home a growler to enjoy with friends and family.

Much like an emergency room triage plan, the two decide the day’s activity based on the level of concern each report suggests. Seb visits the property to make the first assessment and diagnosis. If he cannot fix the problem immediately, a trusted and carefully vetted list of repair personnel are contacted to address the situation. Seb Edwards oversees the appointments and follow ups making certain that all work has been successfully completed. Careful inspections of all properties are done when tenants move out to ascertain what maintenance issues can be corrected prior to the next tenancy. “Taking care of little issues before they become big problems” is their motto.
