CH: Since its inception in 1996, City Storage has driven innovation in the self-storage industry through a thoughtful combination of creative site planning, award-winning architectural design and solid economic operating performance. When they decided to expand their portfolio in to the Savannah market, Casey Howard, with Judge Commercial, was able to help them negotiate a winning location, at 560 Indian Street, to establish their growing business and stage their high-end, urban-style self-storage services.
What made you choose Judge Commercial?
CS: Initially, City Storage came by Judge Commercial by way of their distinguished property signage. However, Judge’s prompt response to our initial inquiry, their thorough property collateral materials, and moreover, their transparent communication led to an easy decision to work directly with Judge Commercial versus our engaging a tenant broker to represent our interest.

Three words to describe Casey Howard…
CS: Candidly, narrowing to only three words describing Casey Howard of Judge Commercial is too restrictive for the reader to appreciate her true value-add to the real estate transaction. However, following this constraint and in no particular order; complete market and product knowledge, intense drive toward a mutually rewarding transaction between all parties, and an absolute pleasure with whom to work.
From beginning of your search to signing of a lease how did we do?
CS: Casey and her Judge Commercial team stayed on-point from our initial property inquiry to well after the lease was signed. And as one familiar with the transaction would appreciate, several critical lease term hurdles followed the lease date.
Advice for others leasing commercial properties?
