Judge Realty has a new business neighbor! The Yaupon Teahouse & Apothecary has opened right next door to the Judge Realty office at 349 Abercorn Street. Business owners Lori Judge and husband Lou Thomann describe their new venture as “an engaging space to learn and experience the endless benefits of the Yaupon Holly tree through our carefully curated teas and Yaupon infused wellness products.”
The visually appealing Teahouse interior features a repurposed skylight which sheds abundant light on wellness products, specialty teas, and the star of the show Yaupon Kombucha on tap. Grab an iced drink to go or take home a growler to enjoy with friends and family.
Among the many Yaupon infused wellness products, Lori Judge says her favorites are the Skin Revive & Hemp Oil and the No More Aches. The Teahouse also offers some specialty glassware created by Drayton Glassworks along with a selection of pottery serving vessels crafted by Mayan artisans.
Judge Realty agents enjoy the close proximity of this refreshing and health conscious new neighbor. “It’s the perfect spot for a mid-morning or afternoon pick-me-up beverage,” states Judge Realty top producing residential agent Pam Peterson. Commercial agent Bobby Vermilion says, “The Teahouse is a great location to take a client before heading out to preview properties for sale or after a long afternoon of walking commercial sites.” Director of Property Management Danny Worsley has given new rental residents a growler to enjoy as a refreshing break on their busy move-in days.
The Teahouse is offering a Judge Realty “Friends and Family” 10% discount during the month of June. Mention this post to receive the savings.
Director of Property Management Danny Worsley and Director of Property Maintenance Seb Edwards are the dynamic duo that keep property owners and renters worry free. Their management experience and quick response to any owner or renter questions or concerns keep this department running smoothly.
What’s their secret to successful property management of over 200 rental properties? Every day the team meets to review maintenance reports and inquiries that enter the rental system through our state of the art online owner and tenant portals. Much like an emergency room triage plan, the two decide the day’s activity based on the level of concern each report suggests. Seb visits the property to make the first assessment and diagnosis. If he cannot fix the problem immediately, a trusted and carefully vetted list of repair personnel are contacted to address the situation. Seb Edwards oversees the appointments and follow ups making certain that all work has been successfully completed. Careful inspections of all properties are done when tenants move out to ascertain what maintenance issues can be corrected prior to the next tenancy. “Taking care of little issues before they become big problems” is their motto.
Danny and Seb’s strategic plan produces owner testimonials such as this from property owner Sharlee P. who has had two rental properties under the Judge Realty umbrella for 10 years! Sharlee states, “What a great team. They’ve been my property manager for many years and have done an amazing job. Congrats to Danny who has done an extra great job and gone the extra mile! Thank you so much”.
Need more proof that Judge Realty Property Management is top-notch? Here are reactions from some of our renters:
“Great experience renting our apartment from this company! Always quick and friendly responses to our emails or calls. Any maintenance was fixed ASAP and they made it convenient for us as renters! I would recommend them to anyone looking to rent and/or buy in Savannah!” Kelly A.
“I rented from Judge Realty for two years and was thrilled with my experience. As opposed to previous property management companies in the Savannah area, Judge was truly a breath of fresh air. They were always quick to respond to maintenance requests, always attentive, often times following up a few days after to see if anything else was needed.” Scott P.

Judge Realty Founder and CEO Lori Judge, pictured here with the Big Bon Bodega Family, shared an important role in this recently opened Bodega. When Bodega owner Kay Heritage was looking for a space to open her bricks and mortar Big Bon Pizza spin off bodega location she contacted Lori for assistance. After exploring many possible commercial locations, the opportunity to lease the newly renovated building at 2011 Bull Street became available.
Judge Realty Property Management Division, oversees leasing of the residential and commercial spaces of this architectural gem. Previously a gas station, the building retains much of its former mid-century character. The owner added a residential component making this an exemplary model of how a building can be repurposed for a present use yet remain sensitive to the neighborhood character and history.
Judge Realty has a business mission statement that places clients’ needs above all else. We posed the following questions to Big Bon Bodega for feedback on the leasing process and to follow-up on how their experience with this office measured up to our service goals.
1. What made you choose Judge Realty? “It has always been ‘human relationship‘ when we choose whom we do business with. Lori Judge has always been such kind and thoughtful person, professionally and personally. She truly cared about our team and was able to share the vision for our company and correctly pairing us with the right building owner. We are so grateful for her.”
2. How would you describe the process from contract to close. How did we do? “Judge Realty team has been nothing but professional and caring from the initial meeting to final closing.”
3. Advice for other small business interested in leasing properties? “Choose Judge Realty! Choose to work with people whom you can trust from your gut; whom you can be life long friends! We chose Judge Realty and so glad we did!”
Thanks for the love and positive feedback Big Bon Bodega! Congratulations on the grand opening of your new venture. So glad that we could share the Big Bon Family business journey. Judge Realty is looking forward to enjoying your wood-fired bagels and other items in this new location.
